What have other people paid for the tuxes including shoes shirt tie etc?? Grooms is free but one I found was 175 for the wedding party. That seems like a lot considering its just a rental and bridesmaid dresses were way cheaper.

    That seems in the range I've noticed. We are renting thru Men's Wearhouse for $209 - they are Vera Wang and includes 2 shirts, cuff links, shoes, and $7 fee for dry cleaning/processing. FYI I wanted the guys to have a backup shirt in case they spill something or it's a hot day and they get really sweaty lol. Someone recommended this to me.

    I also got the Vera Wang tux from Men's Warehouse... Our rentals were also $209 and although it's slightly high, it was the nicest tux they had. The others to me looked cheap. I also didn't think it was bad because my girls paid $215 for their dresses and they'll only wear it once. (I didn't get the extra shirt but liked the idea!) :)

    I did shop around and found that most tux rentals were within the $175 / $200 range. To sound like my grandmother - it's a show of the times. Things are pricey... I feel like anything less than that is cheap material and doesn't look as nice, nor is it as comfortable.

    We got ours from Mens Wearhouse too.  FI's is free, the groomsmen came to about $140.00 (with discount) and includes everything they need to wear for the day.  FI also got an xtra shirt just in case.

    Does MW always do the grooms for free or is it only certain ones?

    I just can't get over the tux rentals being so much! I only paid $127-137 for my bridesmaid dresses since I got them on netbride (although they retailed for over $200).

    Getting an extra shirt is a great idea.  We are getting married in October so hopefully no one will be sweating too much, but I think its definitely worth it for the groom! I will be doing that.

    Ours were about $150 and includes: shirt, tie, jacket, pants, shoes, cuff links and you get to keep the socks. Pocket napkins were extra. You can usually either get a tux rental for free or a suit to keep up to $450. My FI chose to go with the free suit because he'll wear a suit again.
