After the talk about centerpieces earlier I decided to buckle down and try to find lanterns to use for ours. My florist can rent them to us but for $20 a piece which is pretty outrageous, especially when we're thinking we'll have about 20 tables.
So, I did some research based on my inspiration pic:
And realized they're the Ikea Borrby lanterns! FI & I went over there after work today and stocked up! We ended up getting 24 of them (that's how many they had and we figured it's better to get too many than not enough) and I had a $25 off coupon so our total was $350. It's not much savings (yet) but at least since we bought them we'll be able to sell them after the wedding and get some of our money back as opposed to just giving money away to rent them for a few hours.
