I had a wedding nightmare...

...and I'm not even engaged yet D:

I don't remember all of the details, but I DO remember that in the dream I was having a prima donna meltdown because my friend who was a bridesmaid was running late to the wedding. Like, I had total racoon eyes and was bawling my eyes out while screaming, "If she misses my wedding I'll never forgive her!" over and over again. Even in my dream I was thinking, "OMG, someone slap me. I'm annoying!" I was also wearing that friend's wedding dress (strange since I didn't like the dress) and was apparently getting married in the ugliest, most-hated building my college had to offer. It was strange.

Really this was probably less of a wedding nightmare and more a reflection of how I feel our friendship has been lately (she pretty much disappears when she's in a relationship, and since she got married it's been worse), as she flaked out on plans once again recently. But still. When I woke up I had to laugh because wedding nightmares shouldn't even be on the radar for me :P

So tell me about some wedding nightmares you've had. I'm hoping that someone will tell me they had one before they were engaged too :P

(P.S. The Dodger's game was awesome, though I shouldn't have gotten up for a pretzel and beer because the Padres got 5 runs while I was up. It was 10-5 Padres in the end, but the umpires were totally biased toward the Padres Wink )

    I had one a couple weeks ago that was pretty horrible. We were watching our friends get married and then they were like its your turn now. So we just got married wearing jeans and a t-shirt without either of our families or friends there. Then BF got really mad at me saying I forced him into it. It was so weird.

    I've never had wedding nightmares, but my friend had nightmares similar to your first. Her MOH didn't show up on time for her wedding and no one could get a hold of her and when they finally did MOH said "Don't worry I'll be there tomorrow. You can just put it off till then." I also ruined her wedding by trying on her wedding dress first and it fitting me perfectly and then not fitting her at all. There were a couple of others that I don't remember the details of, but dream-MOH and dream-me had fun wrecking havoc on multiple dream-weddings.

    Semi-related dream is that BF burned Disney World down instead of proposing there.  Dream-BF tends to be a massive asshole.

    He really is! Dream-BF once came home, and as I excitedly ran to warmly greet him he pulled another woman into the room, started making out with her, then looked at me and said, "It's over," before going back to making out with her. When I woke up it took me a moment to realize it was a dream and I almost pushed him off the bed :P

    Then there was the time dream-BF told me I was fat, then ripped my Cadbury egg from my hand and ate it. I coulda handled the fat comment, but he took my Cadbury egg >:(

    I think it's the nature of dream-BFs. My three closest friends' dream-BFs are jerks too.<div>

    Dream FI is fine. Dream me is a freakin cheater. It doesn't happen all the time but I cheat on FI about once a month in my dream. I wake up in a terrible mood because it makes me feel so gross.

    ZOMG!  Someone else is a dirty cheater in their dreams?!  I always wake up feeling like such a bitch and end up being extra affectionate to my boyfriend all day.  I did have one totally awesome dream though, where I was hooking up with this guy, and saw my boyfriend, and I turned to the guy and said it was over, that he deserved to find someone who looked at him the way I looked at my boyfriend.  Yay!  Dream-me finally did what's right... sort of... after she macked it with some random dude... but still kinda sweet!

    And I've had wedding nightmares - specifically one where I was getting married suddenly, and my dress wasn't ready so my mother made me a toga out of a towel (that looked really pretty) and I had to wear cowboy boots (I HATE cowboy boots) and that my hair was not done, but I didn't care!  And then half of my friends were calling me telling me they weren't coming, and it quickly became apparently no one would be there at all, but I didn't care.  I just kept yelling at everyone that I didn't care what happened, I just wanted to go and get married and get it over with already!

    Hey, at least dream-me had her priorities straight - marry the guy, the wedding's totally unimportant.  I think it was my subconscious telling me that we need to just enjoy being together and not think and talk about the engagement/marriage so much.

    I haven't had any wedding nightmares yet, but one of my bridesmaids had one the other night about my wedding.  We were both laughing hysterically when she was telling me about it.  She said she got an urgent message to show up at my church 2 or 3 days before my wedding. She was still in her PJ's when she got there, though.  No one was in the church, but then all of a sudden these huge double-doors opened at the back of the church and 3 girls (I will actually have 3 BM's and 1 MOH) started walking down the aisle in these hideous 80's style poofy peach dresses (my colors are navy blue, red and white) and then she saw me in a white dress (there were no guys that she could see, and no guests in the church).  She said she found the wedding coordinator and started a screaming match with her that she was supposed to be in my wedding, what was going on.  The wedding coordinator finally got her calmed down and explained to her that I didn't know this was happening today, they just kidnapped me and threw me in the dress...then she woke up.

    I had one...FI and I were at a Church with Hetshup and her FI. (Why Hetshup, you ask? Well because she's fancy, I assume) FI had a total meltdown and told me we couldn't get married if it wasn't in a Church.  (We're getting married at a hotel)Then he stormed out of the Church.  Hetshup's FI went after him and Hetshup was going to anus punch him for me.  I woke up crying and telling him we could get married in a Church if he wanted.

    He told me I was full of baloney.
