Spur of the Moment!

Hi all!
FI and I just decided to move our wedding forward, so now I'm going to be a May bride too! We got tired of waiting around (it's been almost 6 months since we got engaged, and the days are crawling, so we moved our wedding date forward! Luckily the hall was available on the 30th, so we can go ahead with most of our original plans (we really wanted to get married on a Wednesday, because we met at our Wednesday night church group)!

Anyway, I just wanted to say Hi because I'm so excited that my wedding is almost here!!! But I'm also getting crazy nervous, because there's so much still to get done! I've talked to 3 of my BMs and they're all really excited about the new date (so glad we went dress shopping early!) but I haven't been able to talk to the 4th yet cuz she's in Cancun this week. I really hope she's free that day! It's going to look really stupid if we have 4 guys and only 3 girls!  Eek!

Now I'm stressing myself out!!!

    Welcome!
       Sounds like the next couple weeks are going to be a whirlwind for you! Dont stress about hoping your BM is free, for appearences sake, but you might want to make sure she isnt hurt by this change if she isnt able to make it. We are having 4 girls and only 3 guys, no big deal! Well welcome to the board, if you PM one of the mods they will get your date and name up on the date board :)

    Ditto! I wouldn't worry about uneven sides. But I hope she can make it because you want her there.

    If she can't make it, maybe I could find another friend who's around the same size who could step in? Of course we'd have to sort out payment for the dress...

    I agree with PPs, I wouldn't worry about it being uneven.  I have 4 BM and 3 GM.  The Best Man will just have two girls on each arm.  It'll be fine, that's the least of my worries! You don't want to go out of your way to ask someone to be in your wedding that you hardly know just to even out the numbers.  Are you having a smaller wedding?

    Nah.  I think you should keep your wedding party the way you want it.  Plus, I don't think it's fair to your WP to demote people because you chose to move up your day.  If I were you, I would feel out how your guests feel about the change.  I hope everyone can still make it for you!
