First fitting

Just got back from my first fitting! The good news is I still love my dress. The bad news is it was super expensive (250!!!) and I have to get different shoes. My lovely purple heels are too tall for the hem. I didn't get very good pictures of me in the dress but it makes me feel thin and pretty

I'll post pictures when I go back in February to pick it up.

Congrats!! I know, alterations can be so expensive. My seamstress is charging $300 and I'm not even getting that much done!... Oh yeah and my dress only cost $350 haha.... but I trust her and was fed up with looking for another local, trustworthy place under $300. Can't wait to see pics!

Eep. This makes me very nervous! I have my first fitting on Monday and I'm hoping it won't be too expensive because I don't need much.

Yeah, my alterations are $320 but if it makes me feel like a million bucks, it's totally worth it! Plus, she's adding some beading to my dress that I think will really take it to the next level, so I'm excited!

Mine was $275...but I agree with cu97tiger.....Glad your fitting went great!! Can't wait to see pictures!!

Same thing happened to me. I bought new heels, we'll see how it goes tomorrow at my first fitting. All I need to do to my dress is add a bustle and cups. I hope it's not that much, it seems like so little. :/
