So FI and I have pretty much picked all the songs we need for the reception. Here is our list....what do you think? Wedding Party Entrance: Good Feeling - Flo Rida Bride and Groom Entrance: A mix of Fat Man Scoop's "Put your hands up" and "Drop" First Dance: Steady as we go - DMB Cake Cutting: You're my best friend - Queen Garter Removal: The Stripper - David Rose Garter Toss: Another one Bites the Dust - Queen Bouquet Toss: Mix of Beyonce's "Single Ladies" and Ludacris' "Move" (clean version, of course) And last dance....not too sure yet but we know we want something fun.

We arent doing bouquet/garter toss and I dont think were going to bother with a specific song for cake cutting. We want to keep specific songs to a minimum because we arent having a DJ and dont want to make someone keep putting on certain songs.

So i guess the only one is First dance which will be Gruff Rhys - If we were words we would rhyme.

Havent thought about last dance yet.

Fun!!! We're actually meeting with our DJ on Saturday to go over songs for the weddign so this is perfect!! I totally plan to torture the Single Ladies with Beyonce!! Finally it will be my turn to NOT have to show up on the dance floor for that song!! I haven't thought about cake or garter toss...I guess FI can pick that one.

When we say I do and head back down the aisle we are having the DJ play Bob Marley- Is this Love. We love Bob Marley and thought that would be a fun way to kick off coktail hour and let everyone know we just wanna have a good time and make some great memories!!

Ok, so I am not even thinking about songs yet HOWEVER everytime I hear The Wanted "Glad You Came" I think of an entrance song. Having the DJ edit the song so it is about celebrating your guests for coming out and how happy you are they came.

This is a fun one to read :-) For our ceremony, the acoustic guitarist will be singing/playing: More than Words by Extreme...Everything I Do by Bryan Adams...Marry Me by Train...Somewhere Over the Rainbow (the beachy version)...Thank You for Loving Me by Bon Jovi... for when the wedding party comes out it'll be Brighter than the Sun by Colbie Caillet....for whenI come down, I'm yours by Jason Mraz...and for the closing it'll be Hey Soul Sister by Train. We aren't set on our reception music ones, but our first dance will be Everything I do by Newfound Glory...my dance with Dad is My Girl by the Temptations....his dance with his mom is Mother by Danzig (lol SMH that's prob a first for a mother-son one). For cake cutting prob Pour some sugar on me by Def LEppard. The rest is still up in the air :-)

Thanks ladies for the feedback on Ludacris' "Move" mix with Beyonce's "Single Ladies". I'm sure the ladies who really want to catch the bouquet think to themselves "move b%$#@!", lol. I'm sure no one will expect it so I hope our guests get a good laugh at it.

My Do Not Play list....that's a hard one because I don't really care for organized dance songs like the Electric Slide but my dear FI loves the Cupid Shuffle....so I think I will have that played. He likes to break it down!

We haven't finalized our music for the ceremony because we need to meet up with the church organist but there are two songs which we know we will use. I am pretty sure Canon in D will be the song I will walk into and Ave Maria will be used as well. Ave Maria is such a beautiful song and it always makes me tear up.

Garter removal: "Motivation" Kelly Rowland (This is solely to torture my father lol)
Garter Toss: We're not sure yet

And we had a last dance song but it isn't cominginto my mind right now. I do know on our cruise my FI mastered the wobble (VIC) so that's on the must play list, as is Me Subes la bilirubina.

Love your pick for the bouquet toss! Is your DJ mixing the two songs or is there a pre-existing remix out there? Not gonna lie - think I'm going to steal this idea! :)
