Save the Dates - With or Without picture?

What is everyone doing?

I would really love to do one with a picture (we're doing small magnets) - we aren't doing engagment pictures, but would just ask FSIL to take a few and put the best one on there.

But I don't see a time in the near-distant future in which we'll be able to do that in between everything we have going on in the next month and then closing on our house and moving. Ideally we'd like these out by the end of August.

So, I just don't see that happening and am bummed, but it would be less stress trying to figure a time and place to do pictures for it.

    We are doing a pictures, but it is onna be a post card. We are having our photographer do an e-pic session so we will use one of them in july. I am hoping to have itall figured out come Sept causse we will be moving into or house and i start traveling a lot for work. It is all what you want.

    We are having several pictures on ours. We took our engagement photos about a month ago and will use 4 pics out of them. We are also doing a magnet. I already have the save the date picked out and made I just have to order them now...

    We have several pictures on ours too :) We actually just got them this week! We are having a destination wedding so we are sending soon so people have time to make their plans. 

    My parents took us to the beach and my dad took some really nice pictures. Bring a ladder and get creative. There's a lot you can do with your own camera!

    We got ours from weddingpaperdivas.com and they are awesome :)

    We're not doing pictures on ours.  It's just not very us.  We're having a really beautiful looking, non-picture, STD.

    We're going to use a picture on ours, unless we can find a cute one without a picture for super cheap.  But then again our e-pics aren't until the end of July so I'll go ahead and get the actual STD designed and then just add the pic when we get them back from the photographer.  I think both with pictures and without can be super cute though.

    We did one picture on ours, we did post cards for super cheap on vistaprint. We got a full colored front side with the one picture and our names on the bottom and on the back we got the free back in black and white that says Save the Date, our date, and formal invite to follow. Really simple but I'm in love. I got them already and just finished rounding all the corners it gives it a nice finishing touch. =D

    Our STDs won't have a picture of us on them. A lot of the STDs I see that have more than say, 3-4 on them just aren't my taste and just screams AW to me.

    Thanks for sharing your STD's :)

    It turns out that our house stuff is going to take a little longer - probably closer to early to mid-September.

    My mom helped me get into a better time frame as far as pictures go, so hopefully about mid-July we'll do some pictures.

    The only thing is that I just haven't fallen in love with a STD that I like yet - we're doing small magnets. We found a website that's cheap - so I guess I'm not going to really find something that I love there.

    jfox113 , I just quickly looked at the website you posted, and so far it looks like there are some really nice ones there! I still have more poking around to do! I'd like to see if they are within our budget, because I saw a few that I really liked!
