How do you choose where to buy your dress?  Anyone have any ideas where to start?  I want spend no more than $1000!!!

    Congrats on going dress shopping! It's exciting!!
    I checked out a couple of bridal stores (Suzannes and Azteca) but some of the dresses I liked were out of my budget and none were "THE" dress, so I went to Group USA in the mall. My friend went there a year or so ago and found here dress there. I was shocked, I  totally found my dress there! Iit had all the elements I was looking for in one dress (some of the others only had a few but not all) and it was way below my budgeted price, so now a little more money to spend else where.  I've heard the girls say good things about some of the bridal stores in the valley, and some have done the online ordering.  Enjoy this time!  Of BTW they have one of those bridal shows next weekend in downtown Phoenix so there's always tons of ideas and dresses there too.     I just started going to bridal shops and telling them my budget.  I would tell them not to show me anything over x$, that way I knew I would not fall in love with something I couldnt afford.  Good luck shopping!  There are plenty of beautiful dresses under $1000 there!

    Most of the stores sell dresses under $1000.  Just ask them under your price range.  Or, if you find a dress you love over your price range, look online for preworn dresses or two dress brides who are selling their dresses.  You can usually get them for a bargain.

    I still don't think the dress shopping bug has hit me yet.  I think I'm just too shy to walk out in a dress with a group of girls oohing and ahhing!  Maybe the bridal show this weekend (I'll be there!) will get me in the mood. 

    I'll have to check out Group USA.  I forgot all about it, and I know they have a fairly big selection.  Glad to know they have a lot of budget dresses.
