  I'm not too much help because basically all of the traveling I've done has been stateside or via cruise.  I was trying to plan a DW in PuntaCana (Dominican Republic) and Playa del Carmen (Mexico) before we decided to keep it closer to home with Stone Harbor.
  
  If we weren't doing a cruise from Puerto Rico AND if Hawaii wasn't financially possible, I'd definitely be going to PuntaCana.  There are some great beaches there and some awesome hotels.  Have you looked into it?
  
  The couple that's getting married 2 weeks before Fi & I is honeymooning in Aruba, which seems to be a fairly popular spot for our crowd.  Could be worth looking into as well.

  Hmmm what's your approx budget? I love to help plan trips! Hawaii could be fun! But I've never been. I'd go to bora bora if I had the funds. Those over water bungalows look amazing. FI and I went to Aruba last year and we had an amazing time! Pluses are that it was out of the hurricane belt and has a more "dry" climate so you don't get all gross. We went in dec and it was a perfect 85 day and night. Stayed at the hyatt which was the nicest resort I've ever been to

  New Zealand is gorgeous, a friend lives there. We considered it for our HM but decided to go to Cabo and use it as an excuse to visit her and go later lol

  We are going to Couples Swept Away for part of our honeymoon.  I've read tons of reviews on Trip Advisor for the Couples resorts (there are three others, all four in Jamaica), and although the fiance and I have already been to Jamaica on another trip (stayed at Breezes), I found Couples to be a VERY affordable price (we were able to book the best room category on the property!).  Sandals are supposed to be great as well, but are much more expensive (and fancier), and forget it if you want one of those rooms with a private plunge pool or anything...$$$.  Couples is an all-inclusive resort (one of my requirements too) and although it's said to have a more rustic theme than fancy, I can't get over how consistently good the reviews are!

  We are leaning towards PuntaCana... But I dunno.... I guess we were just originally set on Hawaii... but since it's not all inclusive it's a little out of our prcie range.
  
  I heard Sandals are overrated... but I'd LOVE to go to St. Lucia!
  
  and Fiji would be AMAZING! I actually looked into it... but the downside is it takes 2 days to get there with time change and everything.

  We just booked Secrets in Montego Bay Jamaica. The Wild Orchid resort. I'm so excited to get there!
  
  We researched PuntaCana too. Looks gorgeous there.

  We are going to PuntaCana in the Dominican Republic for two weeks.  We are staying at the Excellence Resort. Very nice place and not too bad price wise either  Good luck with your search!
