I'm sorry that this has taken me so long to post, but I just now have access to internet again as I was out of town for the weekend...well I was actually in Toledo, but out of my town! lol Anywho...I did get my dress on Thursday. The woman refused to let me try it on though and she called the cops while I was there because we couldn't come to an agreement, but as I told her when she was calling the police that this was a civil matter and the cops weren't going to help her at all. Sure enough, that's what the cop said. She also wanted me to sign a piece of paper stating that I would not do a charge back/file a dispute against her on my credit card. This really made me mad as she singled me out and no other bride has to or is asked to sign this. So of course, I refused to sign it. So...I wasn't able to try on my dress at the shop and tried it on for the 1st time at Pam Thomas' on Friday when I went to see her about alterations. I haven't gained any weight since I bought the dress, but it's tight through the stomach, so I guess the dress lady ordered it wrong. I don't really like the dress now either. I don't know if it's because of everything that has happened with it or what, but I'm not loving it like I did when I ordered it. So, I unfortunately just have to suck it up and wear it because I'm not going to be a 2 dress bride, nor can I afford to be. BUT...Pam Thomas was an absolute doll. She was a sweet woman and wonderful to work with!!
PS-I must add that I went to Hobby Lobby for the 1st time ever and I just LOVE it!!
That is a must visit place everytime I'm in town now as I don't have Hobby Lobby around me. It's probably a good thing that I don't or else I would be in serious trouble! lol
