So my FI's British and immigrating to Cali. We just found out a few weeks ago, his visa's not due to be finished processing until June. So we're now an October wedding. Dam nit.
On the plus side, there's a few people who couldn't come who now can, and I'm now five months ahead in planning. We've moved the wedding, keeping everything the same luckily, and lost the minimum amount that we could've lost.
On the downside, we now have to wait till October. And now have to have another 5-6 month separation (less if I can get out there for a couple friends wedding in June).
I mostly lurk so don't know most of you, but sorry to be leaving you all the same. Hope your weddings are all fantabulous.
