Rehersal Time Line

We are having rehersal at our venue on the Friday night before the wedding and dinner to follow. The place we are having dinner is about a 30-40 minute drive from our venue. How much time are you planning for your rehersal? I want to make sure I plan enough time in between the two that we are not late for dinner.

    It should depend on what type of ceremony (church, non-religious, etc.) you are having and how many attendants. If you are only having a 15 minute ceremony, your rehearsal will most likely be pretty short.

    Our ceremony coordinator thought with our size wedding (6 BMs, 6 GMs, and 2 FGs) we should factor on 45 minutes. Our rehearsal starts at 6:00 PM so we scheduled the RD for 8:00 PM.

    Our rehearsal is at 5 pm the night before the wedding and our rehearsal dinner is about 45 minutes away. We planned about 45 minutes for the rehearsal just in case. People may show up late and we might want to do a few run throughs. We reserved a venue for our dinner for 6:30, but we have place until 11 pm so we can really show up whenever.

    Our Rehersal is at 6:30pm the night before the wedding i am assuming it is going to take about an hour and then the church isn't far from FI's parents house (5 min drive) so I figure by like 7-730pm.
