A big one. The friend that introduced us got ordained so that she can perform the ceremony. FI and I thought it was fitting that she do it since it is all her fault.

I'm hoping to have a friend officiate, how did you ask them? I don't want them to feel in any way obligated, and have a couple of people in mind that I think would be great.

@Rojacobs - The friend we asked is the one who set us up on a blnd date and started this whole thing rolling. We just asked her if she wouldn't mind getting ordained to perform the ceremony. There wasn't any pressure and she went online and got ordained that evening. She seems excited to be doing it and it was a special way that we could have her involved as without her we wouldn't even know one another.
