Week of Workout

I'm trying to figure out what to do for workouts next week and whether or not I should plan on Friday (wedding day) being a rest day.

Monday I meet with my trainer but need to figure out my schedule for the next of the week.  I have the whole week off which is good as it gives me more flexibility.  Any thoughts or tips.

What time of day is your wedding?  I feel like I should say, "take a rest day" so that you can gear up and relax, but I always fantasize about running the morning of my wedding before meeting up with my bridesmaids to get ready (is that weird?) because it's one of the most meditative and relaxing things I do.

Other than that, I'd say follow your usual schedule, if you have one that you tend to repeat.  Or, because it's a week off for you, load up on all of your favorite workouts and don't do the ones you hate, just to make it extra fun :)

I'd rest on your wedding day.  Seriously.  It's your wedding day.  Enjoy the company of family and friends.  Also, I don't know what you are doing for hair but my stylist does not want me to wash my hair the day of... so unless you don't sweat when you work out, I would advise against it.

Lastly, ONE day will not kill you.  Heck, two days wont either.  Just start up again after the wedding when you can!

<div>I do that too!  Something about feeling strong and being able to do anything, except I fantasize about doing a sping class before.  But since my wedding is at 11am ... I don't think I'll have enough time :)  It's not weird.</div><div>
</div><div>I'd say do something relaxing, yoga perhaps, with your bridesmaids, that way you'll all be in the same place and you'll have gotten a work out in on your day!</div>

My ceremony is in the evening. I'm usually up by 6 am and start my day with a workout of some kind. I do find them relaxing. My hair appointment isn't until 11 so I do have time to get a workout in, I hadn't thought about the hair washing bit my stylist has said its up to me if I wash my hair or not. I guess I will play it by ear. Thanks for the tips.

I am the same way...my morning just doesn't feel right if I don't do something physical! I think if you feel that way and you have the time, definitely do a workout! I'm planning on a nice run before my big day...it's what keeps me calm and centered and quite frankly will probably be my only real "me" time despite it being my wedding!

    Regardless of what you decide to do...ENJOY your wedding dear!! <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-smile.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" />
