Does anyone have any experience using a Cricut die-cutting machine? Does anyone own one? I am kind of thinking about getting one because I really want to do a ton of papercraft for my wedding. Thoughts?

    There are a couple girls that had them and used them...some had friends with them, and another knottie asked someone at Michael's if she would cut them out for her if she bought the paper and a small fee....

    I guess it depends on what you are planning on doing?

    Some of my family and friends have one and absolutely love it. I'm not crafty in the least, so I don't know much about it, but they all seem happy with their purchase.

    i bought one but ended up taking it back. i really may have been doing it wrong but i cut out a small amount of things and it seemed like the blade went dull really fast. i used a paper that was a little heavier than just normal printer paper but that is the kind of paper that i want to use to do crafts, so i realized i could not just keep buying blades for it and took it back :(

    I own one! I really like it, but it takes time. I havent used it for anything for the wedding though.....My mom got it for me since it is my goal one day to become a teacher (I say goal as in the hopes of getting a job soon and stop subbing) hahahaha. I used it to help with table numbers for my FMIL's dads birthday and they turned out nice. You can even buy markers for it to write stuff which is neat!

    I have one and i love it! I got it last year on Black Friday--was on major sale at all the craft stores. I do plan to use it for the wedding though doing exactly what is still to be determined. : )
