I would really like to pass along the bill to people who cancel 2 days before the wedding.  I calculated that it's about $90/person including table decorations/food.  Really?!

    I'm still waiting for FI's aunt, uncle and cousin to buy their tickets!! They keep telling me that they're coming, however tickets from GA to AZ aren't getting any cheaper. We're all seriously doubting they'll show up. Three extra plates of food please! Ugh.

    Oh man, that sucks! I just had the opposite problem. I had invited my GF and her FI and she sent the RSVP back with just her name on it. Today I find out that he is coming too! Lol. It's no big deal cause we're under budget, but now I have to put them at a different table and reprint her escort card. All I can do is just laugh it off at this point!

    I also have the problem of one of FI's friends... first he and his GF broke up. Then he invited someone else to be his date. Then they got back together. Now they're broken up again. Grrrrr...

    I'm not reprinting his escort card until the day before!!!

    its really annoying when this happens. ive already had a few people do this to me and i still have 23 days! so i cant imagine 2 days before hand!!! but if they have good reasoning and they really care it will all work itself out. at least they arent blowing you off.

    I've been really irritated about a situation with one of my guests. I don't remember if I posted about it here, but this person had said several times that the guy who lives with her was only renting a room now, they were not a couple, etc.  (this woman is around my mother's age, I work with her).  So I didn't put him on the list.  She has a phobia about driving on the highway, so she said she was going to stay at the hotel and take the bus.  Before the invites went out, she told me the guy said that was dumb for her to get the hotel room and he would drive her.  I had to say that he wasn't invited because at the time the guest list was REALLY tight (haha little did I know).  I told her I'd let her know closer to the date. 

    Well, she hounded me about it and got very upset because he wasn't invited, because apparently they now *were* together.  She even said something rather nasty about my relationship with my FI, and so to keep the peace I invited him.  Plus since he was now her SO he needed to be invited.  

    Today she told me that he's definitely not coming, because she's instead getting a ride with another co-worker.  And the guy apparently doesn't have a suit and she doesn't want to buy him one, plus they're going away somewhere a weekend before the wedding so she doesn't want to put out extra money.

    I'll admit, I was REALLY irritated.  I don't think I showed it, but after the way she acted before the invites went out, now she pulls him back three weeks before the wedding?  I guess I should be glad she didn't wait until the week of.
