After trying on around 60 dresses, I finally bought the one! I had first tried this dress on the first time I went shopping in July and it's been in my head ever since, but I couldn't find a store close to me that carried it. So I went back to New York, went to another store to try on some others and didn't find anything, then went back to this one and fell in love all over again.
It's a Romona Keveza gown, with a lace overlay, ivory on ivory. The fit is a-line but I may have it altered to be a little more fitted in the hips. The had the same dress in a fit-n-flare but I thought that was too fitted for me. The lace is really unique in that it has tiny polka dots on it, which I thought made it more youthful and flowing. I'm also having buttons added on top of the zipper; I just love that detail.
It's such a relief to have this part accomplished!
