Please help...I need a new wedding official

Can anyone direct me in finding a directory for ANYONE that can perform a wedding in the central FL region?  Our officant suddenly had to be taken to the hospital last Sunday and is in ICU so she is not going to be able to do it.  I hate that she's not, she's a family friend.  Now I have to have a stranger do it who I'm never going to see again.  I live in GA so we're not able to go to any marriage counseling that some require before they marry you.  Please help!

    Also, we're getting married May 15 so it's really short notice and most people are already booked.

    Do you know anyone in Florida that is a notary?  

    In the state of Florida- a notary can perform a marriage ceremony.


    My friend had a hard time finding someone for her wedding, so I took a class to become a notary, and I performed her wedding ceremony.  That was my wedding gift to her.

    Good luck!  I'm not much help, as a friend of the family is the one performing our ceremony.

    Ask some of your vendors, they'll have recommendations and at least you'll know they're reliable. Good Luck!

    Maybe you can hire Ashley lol. :)  Yeah, I'm not a lot of help, either, sorry. We also had a friend who is a pastor do our ceremony.

    In Florida, as well as notaries, I believe you can have anyone who is ordained as a minister marry you, and there are some website who will ordain people for about $25.  I don't think Florida is one of the states that requires the ordained to have a congregation.  You might try looking into that!

    If that doesn't work, you can try the following people:
    Rev. Tom Ciola (a family friend who is marrying us!):  http://www.vowsareforever.com/

    Rev. Tim Herring (I've heard of him, but I've heard mixed reviews, so you might want to check him out online first): http://home.att.net/~revtim/

    Aw, thank you! I am lucky enough to have a lot of photographer friends, so I had some awesome photographers at the wedding! They did a great job.

    This official would be doing our wedding as well because we have an outdoor wedding .

    Our officient is Rev. Glyn Ferguson. Prices are reasonable, he is very laid back and you don't have to take classes!!  Seemed like a very nice guy in person that we booked him then and there at a bridal show!  good luck!
