Limousine Associates' GroupOn from 1/23

Just wanted to follow up on this post from Jan 23:


I called to redeem it, the lady from Limousine Associates said that the GroupOn doesn't work on Saturdays.  I read all the fine print, it wasn't stated on there, but the lady insisted that it was a printing mistake and it was supposed to be on there.  They won't honor it or get my money back so $40 was lost.

I'm sure their service is better based on reviews on this board but this hiccup in the process stinks.  I feel bad for any ladies on this board and elsewhere I recommended their GroupOn to.  So this is my head's up to those who bought the GroupOn, it won't work on Saturdays.

EDIT: GroupOn is handling the situation to help refund me.

    Can you contact Groupon.com and file a complaint?  If it wasn't in the fine print, then Groupon should refund your money... I think Groupon could resolve this for you.

    If it wasn't in the fine print.. Groupon will refund you the amount paid.

    We had a similar situation with a different company and Groupon was very easy to work with and quickly refunded us the money.

    Update: I called GroupOn as you suggested, they said they've recorded the same complaint on this deal from other customers, as over 100 were sold. They'll recontact me in a few days. I feel a lot more confident now with the situation going forward.  I'm sorry for anyone else who's going through it, too.

    I would definately get Groupon on it- they are good at following through with that stuff.
