What is a bride to do when her head sweats? 

When I get hot, the only place on my body that produces ALOT of sweat is my head.  I am getting married outside next July in Calgary Canada and I am worried that my hair will get ruined before, during and after the cremony & pics because of my stupid head.  

I do have baby fine hair and I sweat mostly around the front hairline and the top,  and as I sweat, it gets itchy.

Any suggestions??  Pls help

    I'm not sure if it'd be a solution, but you have time to try it- dry shampoo. maybe keep some in a bridal emergency kit and when it gets a bit warm have a bridesmaid or 2 escort you to the restroom, cover your dress a bit, and try spraying some in any problem areas that are getting sweaty or itchy. 

    Of course be sure to try it out ahead of time! and best of luck. :)

    I read in Cosmo the other day and this may sound weird, but they said to just do a quick swipe of anti-perspirant deodorant across your forehead before you moisturize or put on make up. 

    You'd want to wipe off your stick so its clean before you rub on a super thin layer, but it seems like a good idea.

    Not really a weird question at all, I dont think.  I've never heard the deodorant thing, but I would think it would work!

    I would also suggest the dry shampoo but also with your fine hair, I'd consider a style with lots of texture, not necessarily anything too heavy but just a lot of texture and some volume to keep the hair from "laying" so much on your head to maybe reduce some of the heat factor.  Just don't too much volume so that if you do end up getting too sweaty, it could fall and you might not be so happy.

    I'd do a couple of trial runs and see what works.

    try using bump it powder, most likely your hair will have some backcombing into it if not just make sure to really apply it to the hair and scalp, its similar to cornstarch and will absorb any moisture, it will also make it easier to use backcombing make sure you really get it into your hair so that no white shows.

    in addition to the advice of PPs, I suggest maybe an updo rather than down or half and half. Once the hair is on your're head, they're will be so much hairspray and pins that it will stay in place. If pieces are down, the curls could fall out or flat pieces may curl up. Keep the dry shampoo, a comb and a flat-iron in your getting-ready kit. That way you can touch up between the ceremony and reception if necessry.
