Favors Day-Wish Me Luck

So for our favors, we are doing bride and groom cake pops (see below). Which means, I have to make about 200 of them... And so I begin today. Let's see how many I can get through... Wish me luck!! It's going to be a long day in the kitchen! Good thing it's rainy here in Florida. I don't feel bad about being inside at all . :)

    Hey ladies!! Thanks for the moral support! I needed it this weekend! The original plan was to start on Saturday and get as many done as possible. I had some hiccups with the cake and the candy at first (I think I got a bad batch) that I finally got resolved yesterday late afternoon. After a LONG day, I got started on the first batch at about 5:00p. Bless FI's heart, he helped me as much as he could (dipping in the candy, definitely NOT decorating. :) His first excuse when he offered help was, "I'll help but I don't think they'll taste as good if I do them."  Nice try. :))

    We finished the first batch around 10p last night and so we have about 50 grooms in the freezer. I don't have to work Friday so once I go pick up my dress (final fitting!!), I'll start on another batch and hopefully have everything done by this weekend!! Running out of time and I was starting to freak a little this weekend, but we hopefully should be back on schedule!

    I'll some pictures of the next batch! I was so tired last night and wanted to get them into the freezer and forgot to take a picture.

    Thanks again for the support! It was nice to read all your comments after the weekend I had fighting with them!!
