woohoo

We picked up our wedding invitations up last night -- woohoo! -
They came out beautiful!!!

This was the 2nd stationer I had to go through and parted ways with the last one as she wasn't coming through for me. I was dealing with the last one since October and had gotten the run around one too many times!
Word to the wise
...Go with your gut if you feel like something isn't right it usually isn't!!!!  So glad I decided to move on....With our 2nd stationer we got this done within a month! Whew.

I love them - their so elegant we went w/ our monogram and a  white pearlized paper w/ raised black ink and a silk black ribbon one the side. GOR-JUS <haha />

Just wanted to share my excitement. Now I must put them all together.

Soooo exciting!  I loved picking out invites and it really cements it!

Here's a tip...involve your girls (if you can).   My MOHs live in the same town as me, so we had a girls night...they brought their daughters (I am an older bride, but the girls were also my FGs) and in a little over an hour, all invites were assembled.  It was a great time and went soooo fast.

Awesome! Mine actually came in the mail yesterday, but my wedding isnt for another 6 months. I'm really excited about them and I want to send them out now! Of course I won't though  :)

    YAY!!!!! such an exciting feeling.

My mom and I sat a whole day together while she hand wrote the envelopes (she has very nice penmanship) and I stuffed.  For us we felt if too many hands were involved it would get confusing. But it was a great way to spend time together and get it done fast.

Yeah! So happy that you love them!

Get them all set up so you can put them together assembly line. If you stamp the return envelopes first it will go so much faster. (That way you can just pick that envelope up and not have to pause to put a stamp on it.)
