Hello all,
I have been lurking here for a couple weeks, and just wanted to introduce myself. I have to say you guys all crack me up on a daily basis, I really really enjoy reading all of your posts, and wanted to introduce myself before just jumping in.

i think a lot of them don't realize that they will get a response so quickly. i recognize this OP from the GIS board and over there a person often posts and then comes back in an hour or so to see if anyone responded.

It already happened. May 7, 2012. My dress was floaty.
ETA: I meant 2011. I can't type apparently.

What's your dream job?
Not having to work?
Actually right now I want to be a college professor, I'm actually waiting to see if I'll get a job offer for this coming year, if not I'll be re-applying next year.

Just got home from work!

@anna: I am an oceanographer. I'm looking for jobs at liberal arts schools right now, but open to other options.

@pirate, thanks! our dog is a goof.

@dot: I feel like my advice is pretty generic, but don't sweat the details (at least not the really little ones). Look in your husband's eyes during the whole ceremony, it makes it really memorable (rather than looking at the officiant all the time). Pee backwards if you have a big dress. Don't forget to eat your food and cake. I don't miss the planning, but we joke about a vow renewal sometimes - I'd love a re-do of the party with all our friends and family!

Ummm, Im a MAJOR control freak.......but completely disorganized at the same time....not sure how that even works

Yes, I have a four year old Shih Tzu names Sophie, and embarassing as it is, I havent figured out how to add pics to my sig, or my posts

Im actually going shopping tomorrow, I have a mermaid w/sweetheart neckline I am in love with, but I am a curvy girl, and not sure it will look good on me.
What's your dream job?
Well, I have two daughters ( 2 & 8) and would love to do anything where I am home when they're home.....
