Verizon,

I hate you. Not always but right now.

Love,
Paying up the ying yang for roaming

Josh and I just got new smartphones and for whatever freakin reason his smartphone roams at his oot job site when his old phone didnt. Well, he's in the US so it shouldnt be a problem. We have unlimited everything. But of course, hes working the US side of the Canadan border....so its picking up int'l roaming. Im pissed. No way am I going to spend the next 1.5 weeks not talking to him. Verizon and I are gunna have a nice little blow up if they dont get rid of my charges.

    Dear FI,

I understand that your internship is difficult and that you've been away the past 2 weeks, but I really need you to come visit me this weekend instead of the other way around.  I'm not comfortable in our new apartment yet and I need you there to make it feel like home.  And I'm very busy!

    Love,
    me

    Dear Boss' Boss' Boss,

How about you worry a little less about the specifics of flipflop vs sandal and worry a little more about doing your job. Quit wasting our time with your countless memos about how people shouldnt be wearing cheap $10 flipflops and let us focus on our work. When I come in wearing a mini skirt and belly shirt, then you can memo-me all you want. And if my "cheap" $10 flip flops piss you off that much, feel free to buy me a summer sandal that you feel is appropriate or...pay me more so I can afford something a little less "cheap".

    Sincerely,
The one who wore slippers in the winter b/c I enjoy pushing your buttons

Haha Josh's mom bought me these black boot lookin slippers 2 yrs ago and I wore them everyday during the winter. I was asked not to and I kept wearing them. But I got away with it all winter before she noticed again the NEXT winter and asked why this winter was any different "Uhhh, b/c I never stopped wearing them and you never noticed??" Right

Dear People Who Plan on Shooting Up Geneva This Weekend:

Please don't. Geneva already has enough problems, don't make them worse. Also, I work in the tourism industry and it would be bad for business.

    Sincerely,

    Dear Verizon,

I also hate you.  Not always, but definitely right now.

It's not my fault you messed up one number of my FI's Thunderbolt serial number.  We have the Fedex receipt stating you received the phone we returned, yet your computer system claims you didn't receive the correct phone back.  To make a long story short, you better not charge me $550 for the new phone you sent my FI.  We absolutely returned the broken phone.  Your computer just has the wrong serial number.

    Sincerely,
I better not have to call again over this matter

    Dear Unappreciative patients,
Since I have decided to work during the summer please quit wasting my time and yours with useless requests that will not be filled.  We will NOT give you Lortabs just because you want them...and NO to the Xanax also.  As if we don't know that you plan on selling them anyway.  Go get a job like the rest of us and make your money that way!  Just be thankful that you are being seen with my tax dollars and you don't have to pay a copay.

    Thanks,
The nurse who gives you attitude when you want everything for nothing

    Dear Wedding Guest,

Thank you so much for your prompt rsvp to the wedding.  However, you were not invited with a plus one, and I think it's kind of jerky that you rsvp'd with a guest.  I'm not paying for you to attempt to find some random girl to bring, just for you to show up by yourself because you couldn' t scrounge someone up.  Thanks for making me look like an a$$hole for having to call you and explain that your "date" is not invited.

    Love,
    The Annoyed Bride

    Dear FI's extended family,
Please let me have the guest book I want. I don't want the traditional signature guest book. I'd like it to be more creative. I know you all may not 'get' the idea, but I don't care, I like it and it's our wedding! Yell  (slight zilla moment)

    Kadell,
I want to do a wish jar where guests write a wish for our marriage or a pdf template where people can write in their favorite memories of us or draw picture etc and put it together into a scrapbook. Some of Chad's family members would think it is dumb. I really don't want the typical guestbook, but I'm afraid if I don't order soon, that I'm going to end up with what I don't want.

That's so sweet, Alyssa!  You should definitely do that.  Grumpy people don't have to leave any advice/memories if they don't want to.

    We did both.... happy compromise.

My coworkers got me a huge set from Things Remembered that included a guest book and pen.  We also had a photo guest book and a Wish Wine Glass that people dropped cards into (one side said "Where do you see in in 5 or 10 years" and the other said "Advice for the Newlyweds")... the cards were hilarious, but only a handful of people did them... most signed the guestbooks.  I also have 2 huge white photo mats to sign that I never even used... maybe that you be a compromise for you.  (I apparently went a little overboard in the guest book department)....

Anyway, we set the nice Things Remembered guest book out at the ceremony for everyone to sign.  And since we had several guests who came to the ceremony, but couldn't make the reception, it was nice that they could still sign the guest book... then we set the photo book and Wish Wine Glass out at the reception.

You can always find a nice cheapy guest book at Michaels if you want to just shut em up.  Tongue out

Thanks girls! :) I might do both. I can't really have one at the ceremony though because we're having it outside and that would be a little hard to do. Wow! I just almost wrote the wrong spellings of do and two...I need sleep.
