no mushy daddy daughter dance

HELP!!!! i need a daddy daughter dance that is non traditional and not really sappy... not country either.(not that i have anything against it).. i was thinking of somewhere over ther rainbow by IZ or Billy JOels just the way you are ... but my friend said that was his parents 1st dance ... so thats out the window..... aaaaahhhhh please help

    Not sure why you feel you can't use a song that was your friend's parent's song?  Unless you mean your FI parents?  I don't think it really matters - use whatever song you want to use and don't worry about it.

  • We did Paul Simon's "Father and Daughter' because I also didn't want a super mushy song. It's a little upbeat and still sweet but not overly gushy.
