  I'm having the same problem. Found a beautiful dress on tidebuy but don't know who the original designer is.

  The knockoff sites will sometimes use the original picture of the gown from the designers website.  If you go to google images, you can upload the picture (save it to your computer first)  and then google will do a google search for that picture.  It isn't always easy, and sometimes the answer isn't on the first page, but that is how some of us are able to ID dresses.
  
  You can also just use the picture as a guide and take it to the bridal salon as a reference to the type of dress you like.
  
  With the one you referenced here, I actually cropped the picture so it was just the left side.  The tidebuy watermark was throwing off the search.  I think this dress is a Contin Sposa, Model 103968 from their spring 2012 collection.

  Thanks Becka- not great with the computer but sounds like a great way to look for the originals! Love your pic! I miss my kitties- developed severe allergies when I was pregnant!

  You can also post the image here if you can't get google images to work.  Usually someone will take a minute to search.  Unless it is really obscure, someone usually knows it or finds it.
