I am so thankful that I have such a wonderful and amazing FI.  He has gotten several checks done for me over the last couple of weeks.  I feel bad that he has to meet with all the vendors without me because I am stuck over in England (I am stationed here with the military and can't be in Arizona where FI and the wedding is going to be until the 1st of September) but he does it without complaint and is more than happy and willing to get it all done.  He went with my mom and together they got our flowers ordered for the ceremony and reception, he ordered our wedding bands and picked them up, he ordered our cake, and went for his tux fitting and ordered the tuxes for himself and his groomsmen, and he will be meeting with the caterer today for a tasting and to discuss and finalize the reception menu.  He always calls and puts me on speaker phone while he meets with everyone so I can help him decide on things and also speak with the different vendors but I wish I could help him out a little more than I can at the moment.

I also went for my fist dress fitting last Wednesday and they are working on getting my alterations done.  It feels good to get quite a few major checks done and checked off the list.  Like I said I could ask for a better FI he is so good to me and I couldn't get it all done without him I am very lucky and truely blessed to have him in my life. I can't wait to marry my best friend in just 3 months now. Laughing

    What a sweet FI you have!  I would be really hesitant to turn over so much control.  I'm sure he's going to do an amazing job!

    That is awesome!  I thought it was a big deal when my FI printed envelopes while I was at work haha.  How sweet of him and glad things are still on track despite you not being there (physically).

    It definitely makes it a lot more difficult when you can't be there physically but my FI has really stepped up to the plate and is getting everything taken care of. We talk everyday and he consults me first about everything before he goes to meet with all of the vendors he has taken pictures of examples to all the vendors of how we want things which helps him and the vendors out a lot as well.  My mom is also there and she has gone with him to some of the meetings as well and she tells me he has done a wonderful job and things are going to be beautiful and just the way I want them so that coming from my mom I know he has done very well.  I can't wait to see everything it is all going to be a surprise for me really.  Again I am very blessed.
