designing/printing wedding programs

any suggestions on what program you could use to design a program in addition to where to print them. i'm not a big fan of what i've seen on places like minted so thinking of maybe coming up with a little template on my laptop and then using something like kinkos?

Not sure if this helps, but H created ours on Photoshop.

We printed them all out at home.

I got a booklet kit and printed mine at work. PIB. Some places only print on 81/2 x 11 paper so be sure to call first and make sure.

I created my own 'fan' programs using a template I found online. They were pretty labor intensive (a lot of cutting), but they turned out really well.

I also designed mine on photoshop, taking the design cue off of another website. I printed through vistaprint and used a 50% off coupon to get the total cost for 140 invitations (3 cards each) to just about $100. You can try photoshop free (I believe) for 30 days.

For the text/inside of ours, I just did it in word, printed two per page and sliced in half, then assembled.
