Help with STD wording?

Hi Ladies - I'm making save the date cards for a friend, and I'm a little stuck on the wording. I was Googling like a mad women, but you've always been so helpful, so I thought I'd come here :)

Basically, they are getting married in a small private ceremony (close family only), and then a month later having the big, traditional reception. She's doing a "tying the knot" theme, but we can't really put "X & Y are tying the knot!" on the STD because the reception is a celebration of the marriage, it doesn't include a ceremony.

I'd like to think of something to say - so that people know it's a celebration, but can't figure out a good way to word it... any ideas? Thanks!

Could you still you that idea, but instead say....so and so have "tied the knot" come celebrate with them.  or something like that?

I was trying to think of some kind of play on words where you can mention that they've started their "knot" and now it's time to 'pull it tight' or something like that.. meaning time for their wedding/celebration to come full circle.

i picture a bunch of little images of the various stages of tying a knot or tying shoelaces and it having a milestone date listed under each picture (ie, when they met, the proposal, the ceremony, etc) and culminating with a knot or bow and the date of the reception.  HTH =)
