2 days left!!

So, I've already got all of our "activities" planned. But we've got the full day on Sunday in Kihei to explore and do whatever. We're going to go to the ceremony site to learn where it is so we don't get lost on Monday, but we don't have any plans other than that.

What are some must-do things in Kihei? Places to go shopping, eat, etc.?

Any recommendations for the Ka'anapali beach area are welcome as well since that's where we'll be spending the 2nd half of the trip :)

    I still can't believe it's so soon!

When we are staying in Lahaina we will be doing to see the Banyan Tree and taking the self guided walking tour of the town. Going to Maui Brewing Company, Banyan Tree Deli, Mai Tai Lounge and Aloha Mixed Plate.

When actually at Ka'anapali beach area we are going to the beach there and checking out the tikis at the hotel you are staying at, as well as the tikis at Westin. Going to eat at Honokowai Okazuya & Deli and Hula Grill.

When we are staying in Kihei we will go to Makena beach to snorkel and see Shapers Surf Museum. We are really looking forward to doing the Pride of Maui sunset dinner cruise that leaves from Maalaea Harbor. Stella Blues has great food.  So does Jawz. Also plan on hitting Southshore Tiki lounge.

    Hope that helps.

Oh Brea, we ALWAYS stay in Kihei so if you need any info please let me know.  I love Kihei and can't even imagine staying anywhere else!   Kihei is a great little town, and you can walk to almost everything.  There are tons of little shops around, and many great restaurants.  We really like Stella Blues, Da Kitchen, Pita Paradise, Lu Lu's, and really a lot of the little food places in the International Marketplace area.

Let me know if you have any specific questions!  I can't believe it's only 2 days, I am SO excited for you!!!

Brea!  I'm soooooo jealous.  I wish I was going to Hawaii in 2 days!  If you plan to keep it local, our favorite coffee & sandwich shop was Cafe @ La Plage in the Dolphin Plaza in Kihei (also downstairs from Dan Sanchez' salon).  Laid back, great coffee, and really good food.

I am also a fan of just getting poke from Safeway.  One of my favorite things that DH and I did was run to Safeway & pick up poke and other foods and have a sunset picnic at our ceremony spot 2 nights before.  It was gloriously romantic!

And if it's not already on your radar, and you are foodies, try to eat at Haliimaile General Store.

    YAY AND CONGRATS!

Food: Three's Bar & Grill is my favorite! Cuatro (next to Foodland, I think, in the corner). Five Palms is also nice.

    Have fun!

    Thanks for the suggestions everyone!

Jen, I might need to hit you up for some ideas :) We have a full day to fill on Sunday, but it sounds like Kihei is a great place to do just that!

Having never been to Maui, I can't help you with that Brea, but have a fantastic time!!  I know you will.  Can't wait to see photos when you get back
