Venue PANIC

Am I the only person feeling this way? I feel like every place we agree on, doesn't work out. I am losing my mind already.

The added bonus is with being a fall wedding, there is this urgency that the date will be snapped up soon if we don't act fast. Assuming that "the venue" exists, which I am starting to wonder after so many hours spent looking.

I feel like we can't do anything til we have a PLACE and a date... so I'm stressin'! And my FI is going to be out of town the next 2 weekends and then we both will be out of town the 2 weekends after that! I have a feeling he is not going to be keen on me going on venue tours without him, he is WAY involved. 

VENT over! Lord help me I'm losing it!

    The only thing I have accomplished really is my venue - I too felt it was the first thing aside from a preliminary guest list so I knew how big it had to be. 


    Is there a list of places you guys have in mind that you are working your way down?  maybe start with that - you could go to a few even without him and if you hate them - they are already checked off the list... if you have a few you like then you guys go back to look together

    You are totally right, you need to get the venue and the date in place before you can do much else. But as anxious as you are, don't rush it! We jumped on the 3rd place we saw, and I still wonder what we might have missed by not looking at enough places. Good luck! The right venue is out there!

    I get to book my venue at midnight tonight. It has to be done online and I am nervous that someone else will submit the form before me! Praying I get it! I am super nervous!

    I kept going to places and nothing felt right. We almost settled on one of the other venues. Then we found our venue and it was perfect and cheaper! So everything happens for a reason. I am so glad we didn't settle on the other venue. Just keep looking. I know how disappointing it gets. I kept getting my hopes up only to have them shot down.
