Update: Bridesmaid dresses

Tonight I went with my MOH to try on the dress we found for her. We had found this style after months of searching at David's, then I found it in a satin fabric by Alfred Angelo the other day! It looks soo nice on her!! So we ordered that.. I paid $50 on it before the appointment, it was so funny watching her study her order form and try to figure out where the $50 went! ;-)

Also, I picked out a second dress for my sisters. It's about $35 cheaper than the one that is too expensive... and still one of the cheapest dresses they had. Anyway, they have a choice between this dress or the original one I had chosen, I am not going back and forth on this. It makes me the most sad knowing this is how they have always been, and will probably never change. I would have liked to think that for such an important day in their little sister's life, they could act a little more reasonable.

I'm sorry this has been such a fiasco for you.

Hopefully your sisters will get over their behavior as your planning continues and everything else will be smooth sailing Smile

I'm sorry this was such craziness for you, but I wish you all the best going forward!

Such a nightmare but at least you have a plan going forward.  They can pick between the two dresses and it's their choice.  You are such a more patient and better person than me to go through all this trouble-- I would have been bridezilla x100 at this point!

That is too bad they can't be more supportive. I think it is a great idea giving them the option, since at least then it is their choice which dress they get and so it is harder for them to complain about it! Well played! And hopefully the other wedding playing goes more smoothly for you.

You are all so sweet! The dress is really no big deal at all... but this is a true example of how they act all. the. time.
