Wedding Dress Help!

I just moved to Philly from Boston and am getting married in November. We are getting married in Boston, and I made a trip up to Boston recently and went to 5 or 6 places, but have not found the right dress. Can anyone suggest places in/near Philly that have plus size samples (I'm a 14, so 16-18) without blowing my budget (around $1000)?

If you don't get any responses from this board there is a Plus Sized board, Maybe someone on there lives in Philly or near Philly and can help you out. Hope that helps.

I know Alfred Angelo does. But don't go to the Cherry Hill Store. They are the absolute worst! There is a store in Allentown / Whitehall, PA and Lancaster, PA.

These may be a bit far for you but Stephanies in Pennsburg and Belle of the Ball bridal in Trooper both have nice selections of plus sizes.

I got my dress at Bridaltown in Collegeville for under $1,000.00. They have a whole room dedicated to plus size brides.

WLevine- I've read almost nothing but horrible reviews from Bridaltown, mostly about issues that occur AFTER paying for the dress. Can you tell me about your experience there?

I went to Bridaltown too - it is quite an interesting place (just by the looks of it) but everyone I dealt with was great. My mother may be getting her dress there but I have heard good things about it from others.
