I am having such a hard time trying to decide on what to do for my bachelorette party. I don't like bars, and i'm more of a low key dinner and relaxing kind of girl. My mother wasn't very involved for a while so my bridesmaids and MOH had planned a nice dinner (so my mother and FMIL, and grandmother and all could come), and then having a toy party. Well now all of a sudden my Mom is like uber involved and made this plan to go to Hershey Park for my bachelorette party. i told her i didn't want to do that, and came up with a plan to take a bus trip to NYC for the day.
My main problem is that throught my entire wedding planning process, everyone is forcing their opinions on me and making this about them instead of my fiance and I. So everyone is giving a bunch of crap about the NYC idea, because they don't want to spend the money or walk around or that is too "lame" for my bridesmaids (who are more parties than i). So then i came up with the idea that we could do a little "spa day" and all get pedicures or something and then go to a nice dinner then have a toy party for the younger girls. Now my problem is that i can't decide where to have the dinner???
I don't like steak, my favorite food is Hibachi but i don't think everyone likes that.. and the only one around here i go to like 3x a month... so any suggestions on nice restaurants with a nice selection of food would be great.. or if anyone can think of a good idea that isn't just going to dinner and then going to the bars would be great. I live in Northern Maryland.
THanks!!
