Has anyone had hair or makeup done at Salon St. Louis? Their prices are really great, but I would love to hear from anyone who has used them. Also, if you have a suggestion for someone that is very reasonable (under $50 for hair and $35 for makeup), please leave that also. Thanks!

    I made some calls today.....

    Salon West Hair: $50 Makeup $25


    Salon Dacota Hair: $65+ Makeup: $40


    The Face and The Body Spa Hair:$65+ Makeup: $75+



    These are all close to me but I might go with Salon West becaues its cheapest.

    I used to go to Salon St. Louis to have my hair done, but it was quite a while ago and they were somewhat pricey.

    My wedding was last Saturday and I had my hair done by Abbie and Abigaail's on DeMun - $45 for updo (she came to me on the wedding day) and was extremely pleased. Erin Moore did my makeup - she was a bit more than you stated you wanted at $60, but it was perfect and she comes to you as well. Both of those prices included a complete run-through at their places.

    I went there for a hair and makeup trial last month, and I wasn't impressed. I brought inspiration pics for both my hair style and makeup, and they didn't really pay attention to what I wanted. My updo was sloppy and uninspired, but worse was the makeup. It took her a mere 15 minutes, which is about what it takes me on a normal day to put on my own makeup. I wouldn't suggest going there. I won't be.

    Thanks for letting me know. A couple other people on different boards mentioned that their hair was sloppy and falling out. I won't be going with them after all :)
