Catering Budget & Suggestions!

Hey Knotties!

I have purchased my dress, the tux, booked my venue, booked my photographer, and booked my DJ.  My last big hurdle is finding a caterer.  I have a list of about 25 approved caterers for my venue; however, most of the quotes I have been getting are exceeding my budget.  I am looking for a heavy hors d'oeuvres / tapas style reception, and I am providing my own liquor, so only a soft bar is necessary.  I am only going to have a max of 100 people at the reception and want to spend no more than $70-75 per person.  Any suggestions on which caterer could fall within that price range?  Jewell Events is close, but charging $2600 for staffing for 5-6 hours is a bit much.  The reception is being held at a New Leaf if that helps!  And if anyone has suggestions on classic black poly linen rentals for next to nothing, throw them my way!  Thank you!

A long time ago I was quoted from Fig Catering for heavy hors d'oeuvres and I seem to remember them coming in around that price. They were super helpful and professional and the menu they planned for us sounded delicious.

I am using Froggy's Catering and they can definitely fit that budget! My wedding is over a year away but so far they have been great to work with.
