Officiant and photographer recommendations...

Hello Ladies!

I know that my profile says I'm a "New jersey bride" but my fiance and I go to University in Central PA and are thinking of just getitng married here (right before we graduate) and then going away together somehwere.

We could really use some Non-denominational officiant as well as photographer recommendations. The closer to the Lewisburg/Selinsgrove area the better!

Officiant - Pam Brehem. She's great, inexpensive, a sweet lady, and very helpful.

She's from Boyerstown but travels to area for no extra charge and is always early for appointments.

I do not know of a good officiant in the area, but Courtney Anton Photography is really great. Plus I believe she is running a special on wedding packages currently!!

Our photographers live in Baltimore but went to Bucknell and do a lot of Central Pa weddings. HIGHLY recommend them!

Our venue's wedding coordinator recommended Rev. Sharon Marquart (Mechanicsburg): http://www.openheartministries.org/about-rev-sharon.html

We also booked Frank King Photography (Lancaster): www.frankkingphotography.com Couldn't pass up their price, in comparison to others (which means a lot to us since we're paying for our wedding).

if you really want to go inexpensive.. my fi and i are going to use the mayor of the town.. they usually just ask for a small donation.

@Annie: we thought about that, but the thing is we kind of want to get married where we got engaged and I don't know how willing the local mayor would be to do something like so to us we might as well pay to be where we want. thanks though!

I need an officiant at psu too, but I highly recommend Sean at ModernArtWeddingPhotography.com. You can view our engagement session on his site, we had it done at the botanical gardens, he is amazing and thats who we booked

And our priest and church are free. just have to pay the organist and cantor. But it's less than I've heard many pay just for the ceremony.
