Wedding Rings/Bands

Looking for a reputable jeweler for simple wedding bands for bride and groom that isn't overpriced but delivers quality, preferably in NW suburbs.  Does anyone have suggestions?  I hear tungsten for men is becoming popular -- anyone have experience with that?

BTW, can you do a search within these Chicago postings for a specific topic or do you just have to scroll through?  I hate to ask something that's been asked so many times before.

We bought tungsten for my husband from overstock.com. We just purchased a bunch of different rings and he picked the one he liked best. Even with return shipping - the price was very reasonable!

We are using Mitchell's in downtown Arlington Heights for his ring. They made mine as well, which was a custom design. They carry Tungsten too.

We bought our wedding bands at the Jewelry, Fashion & Accessories show that comes to Chicago every few months. They have lots of costume jewelry but also have high quality diamonds & jewelry at great prices. Bring cash & you can get even better deals!

Here's the link for the next show this month (it's usually in Rosemont, but this month it's in Schaumburg). Admission is FREE as long as you register online before the weekend of the show.

This! So reasonable, we got two of the same ring for him (one a half sixe bigger than the other) in case he needs some wiggle room in the summers, since they cannot be resized!

We looked at a tungsten ring and a titanium ring at a Zales outlet store that looked very similiar. DH chose the titanium one because he didn't like how light the tungsten felt in his hand. They were both very reasonably priced and since they can't be resized Zales will replace the ring with a new size if DH ever needs it changed.
