I just ate a turkey sandwich, chips and a pickle for lunch and I seriously am still starving and could eat a second sandwich, but I'm working from my in-laws house today and I don't want my FIL to know I'm a pig.
I just went to the work b-day party of a girl I barely know just for the cake. When we got there, everyone else was leaving so it was really awkward. I was going to just take my cake and go eat it at my desk, but stayed to finish it to it looked like I was there for the birthday, not just the cake. :P

Stick, little one, stick! EDD October 15, 2012
I'm reading a book called "In the Meantime.....Finding Yourself and the Love You Want" and every page I read speaks the truth louder and louder to me. It's the perfect book for what I need right now. PERFECT! I'm so glad I found it, yet so scared of the emotional journey that I know will come as a result of reading it. I need it right now. My relationship with DH is not good. It feels so fake, so pretend. I'm hoping this read with help me to become a better person and will help me to grow and find the love I need....not just the love given to me.
I'm still wearing my jammies. But, I cleaned the house this morning while DH took care of DD, so I don't feel as bad. I didn't want to get dressed just to clean.
First, I dreamt that someone was breaking into my house. When the intruder found me hiding in my closet, I shot and killed him. Except, it was someone I knew. Granted, he was breaking into my house saying creepy things, but still! I dreamed about killing someone I know in real life!
Also, I have a friend who just got married and he's really anxious to have a baby with his wife. Problem 1: They hate each other and everyone is just waiting for the divorce. Problem 2: Her children are grown and she has no plans on having any more. So I had a dream the other night that they were divorced, and she and their son were living with my husband and I secretly to hide his child from him (not that we'd ever do that). Then I told him in real life that, "Hey! I had a dream you had baby with H!" I'm a terrible friend.
I was good and did not have the birthday cake that was in the office kitchen. When I went back, the cake was gone, but there was yummy cream cheese icing all over the container. I got my spoon and filled it up with icing!
I'm an emtional mess. I cry pretty much every day about my husband leaving for tour. It's a necessary evil, as it is his job, and he leaves every summer. But having a newborn to care for all by myself is scary. Not to mention being sad that he wlil miss the first 2 months of her life. Boohoo!!
Sonic is doing a buy one get one free milkshake promotion right now. I got one last week on the way home from work and instead of getting the free one for DH, I took the coupon and got it for myself Wednesday.
I had an extra breakfast this morning... I ate at home, got to work and decided that I was still hungry, then went and devoured 2 sausage/cheese kolaches.....
after bashing the twilight books, i've decided to give them another shot. and i'm really enjoying them this time! and i totally netflixed the movies to watch this weekend too.

I had "2nd breakfast" pretty much every morning from about 18-40 weeks pregnant. <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-embarassed.gif" border="0" alt="Embarassed" title="Embarassed" />
One of my prior confessions was that I tried to watch Glee & did not get what all the fuss is about. At all. My new confession: I watched an episode of Glee & enjoyed it (where the football players sing & dance to All the Single Ladies). I actually laughed out loud. Not sure if it was an abberration or if the first episode I tried to watch was just a bad one...
I went to see Sex and the City 2 with some girlfriends last night and HATED it. I knew it had gotten bad reviews, so I had very low expectations and I still felt cheated out of my $9.

I saw it over Memorial Day weekend, and when I got up to go to the ladies room during the karaoke part, my friends thought I was leaving because I disliked the movie so much! I came back, though, and can't remember another time I've rolled my eyes more often.
there's something I really want to confess, but I know better. it won't get flamed and it's nothing bad at all, I'm just dying to tell someone. But I can't.

OMG I LOVED that episode. I could not stop laughing and that episode was what got me hooked. I wish I had watched the whole series from the beginning.
