Finally locked in photog/videog

Feel very relieved over this one - and feel like I got a good price/good quality. Fiance is a slow mover and sometimes doesn't get the need to lock these things down--I was feeling nervous about this one. But now...very happy!

How is everyone else doing in getting these checked off?

    Congrats!  We did that the month after we were engaged, ha!  I knew I wanted our photographer and he books up VERY fast so I had to jump on it.  He did a friend of mines wedding 2 years ago and is SO talented.

    We have most of our big things done - venue, caterer, church, photo, flowers, transportation, BM dresses...need to get a bakery still and a bunch of little stuff but I feel good about having the big things done!

    Woo! Congrats on the check.

    We've had most of our stuff booked for close to a year now (we've had just over a two year engagement). We knew who we wanted as a photographer before we even got engaged. She shot my MOH's wedding which we stood up for and we loved her! We really don't have anything else to book except for tuxes and we know where we're going, we're just waiting until we ask everyone we want to be in the WP. For once in my life I didn't procrastinate!

    Congrats!  Checks feel great, don't they??

    We booked most of the big things in late summer: venue, planner, photog, DJ.  FI's intense work schedule made getitng to the beach together very difficult, but once we picked the venue, the rest went down in line.  Our photog was an easy decision, her work is awesome!  I can't make the hotel block until January, but know where it will be; I'll handle transportation once that's firmed up.  BM dress shopping is also scheduled for January - I'm so, so excited for that!!

    We have the venue, catering, church, dj, cake, photographer, flowers and chair covers booked. I am almost done some little things like ribbon wands, signs for the church and reception, know what we are doing for centerpieces and buying a little at a time and I have my shoes and working on my hair clip

    That's awesome and so exciting!

    We have the church, priest, venue (with catering and cake), DJ, dress, hair and makeup appointments, photographer, and videographer.  We ordered our centerpieces, had our engagement photos taken, and have some other ideas for smaller details.  It feels like we've gotten a lot done, but we also have a lot left...
