I am right along with you. I have priced down to the salt and pepper shakers for the reception. Cannot not wait of August 1st in Hawaii.

Do everything you can, but don't sacrifice quality for rushing. When I first got engaged I scrambled to get everything together, but now that I have the big things done, I feel like I can take my time to find the right accessories.

I've gotten bored also! I got so much down that I'm looking into DIY stuff just to practice on. It was so hectic right after he proposed because I wanted to make sure everything was reserved. Now I'm trying to find something else to do!

I'm not a crafty person at all so I figured DIY would be a great thing to get into at least for centerpieces. I have time do some and see what they look like to. August is soooooo far away!

My wedding is August 4th also! I almost feel like I'm missing something because all the other brides I know "have so much to do" and I don't... Here is my to do list, PLEASE tell me if I am forgetting anything!!

-Church is booked

-Reception site is booked

*All food, linens and centerpieces are being provided by the reception site

-Florist is chosen, we have a meeting set up for Feb

-Bakery is chosen, we have a meeting set up in February

-Photographer is chosen

-DJ is chosen

-Dress has been purchased; alterations and bustle will be provided by the shop. I am planning to pick out a veil and shoes in the spring around May (when the dress comes in)

-Save the Dates have been ordered, I am planning to send them out after the holidays

Things to do still:

-Book limos

-Choose bridesmaid dresses

-Choose hairstylist/makeup artist

-Pick final menu with reception site owner (spring time)

-Choose RD site

-Pre Cana

-Purchase invitations

-Book honeymoon

Am I missing anything?? I am finding this process totally un stressful which makes me feel behind! Please advise.

This is my day too!
But no, I'm not way ahead on my to-do list.

All I have checked off is the church and reception venue. Oh, and my wedding party are all confirmed and pumped!

I have been dress shopping but haven't found anything I love, or even like a lot, yet.

I'm planning on getting moving on this list come the New Year...

I have said yes to the dress, and everything else will start rolling after the first of the year. We havent really even picked a date, my ticker is just the date i think we should pick lol! The 18th of August!

@Ballet looks like the thing you forgot is time for yourself whether it be a DIY Mani Pedi. But for the most part looks good!!
