Rehearsal question

I want to have a rehearsal and rehearsal dinner but I am not sure when or how to make it work since the wedding is on a Friday and most of the WP will have to work the Thursday before. I am really not sure how to go about this.

    This is exactly what I'm doing, a good amount of the wedding party is from out of town and the ones who live close have to work thursday and even a one has to work Friday morning. 
    Actually, most every wedding I've ever been in, with the exception of two, had a similar schedule.  I think its pretty common.

    If you dont have alot of OOT guests you are inviting you could shoot for the Sat/Sun before. My brother in law was just in a wedding and they hosted a brunch the Sunday before for a Friday night wedding.

    If not then i suggest Thursday night like PPs.

    We are doing ours thursday night.  Half our wedding party is from oot so they are coming in thursday morning and the other half is local so they are taking off work thursday afternoon.  We plan on doing a girls afternoon at the nail salon then meet up with everyone for a rehersal around 5/6, possibly a little later due to high traffic volume in the area of our venue around rush hour.

    We are also having out RD on Thursday, and most of our wedding party and other ceremony participants (readers, violinist) are out of town. Our rehearsal is at 5:30pm and dinner is around 7:00pm.

    Thanks Ladies! My entire family is from OOT so I think we will do an evening rehearsal on Thursday.
