NWR: In search of an amazing burger?

Definitely try 25 Burgers!

I've passed the one in Bound Brook a million times, but thought it was just some lame and greasy burger joint.  But this past weekend FI and I happened to pass the one in Linden and decided to try it out... OH MY GOD, I have a new food obsession.  They're the BEST burgers and fries I've ever had.  The burgers were cooked perfectly (not soaked in grease at all), the sweet potato fries and honey mustard were the best I've ever had, and the chili cheese fries were delicious!

FI said he's passed the one in Linden a lot and it's always packed, but we happened to go on Sunday night and it was empty.  The guy who helped us was really friendly (he threw in drinks for free because we said we were first-timers and he said he guaranteed we'd be back) and the interior of the building has a slightly retro feel to it.  We preferred taking our food to go, but there were a few tables and a counter to sit at.

I'm assuming both of their current locations (Linden and Bound Brook) have the same menus and they're supposed to be opening one up in Westfield soon.  Definitely stop by if you get a chance.

I just saw a sign that they are putting one of these in Boston where we are currently living. Never had heard of it, but definitely will try it when it opens! :)

Hmmm, this sounds bad; very, very bad.  Be sure not to post this in the "getting in shape" forum!

Thanks for sharing Peaches!  My fiance is a huge burger person.  While I'm not as much I definitely appreciate a really good burger.  My parents are in Somerville, and grandparents are in Linden, so we'll definitely have to try either location soon.

One of my favorite places for bugers is Park Tavern in Jersey City.  It's a total dive bar, but their bugers and corned beef sandwiches are AMAZING!

I've also heard really good things about Burgers & Cupcakes in the city and want to try it out.

I was at Zinburger yesterday. The burger did not sit well with me at all. The place is definitely gimmick-driven, and the gimmick - that they have wine - is poorly executed. The wine list is short, and it doesn't give descriptions or vintages.

Smashburger is good - Taylor Ham is one of the topping options. :)

But while there seems to be a new "upscale" burger joint opening every week, we'll never get In N Out. :(

Boo about Zinburger (funny - we almost went there last night).  I had high hopes.  Oh well.  I like Smashburger, but DH thinks it's  a little too greasy.  However, now that they also opened one in Clifton, I have asked him to pick up dinner once or twice!
