PSA - Check your Target registry!

Hey ladies!

Target recently updated their website & some girls on my month board have lost some or ALL of their registries!

I checked mine & thankfully everything is still there!  But, just wanted to throw it out there, that it might be MIA, due to their update.

Oh & BTW, the new layout is horrible & hard to navigate... I think so anyway!  Not liking it so far!  = (

    It looks like the links are still the same at least, right?

    I hate this 'trend' or whatever with websites. It's like everything is getting dumbed down and over-simplified.  Along with SUPER BRIGHT bold colors, like everyone has zero attention span. (Which is probably true, but still.)

    Anyone seen the movie Idocracy? Because that's how I feel sometimes ;)  But anyway. That was a long random rant. haha

    I think the links are the same, although one girl said she used her link from their website for their registry & it just brought her to the main page.  Definitely worth checking though!

    I've seen Idocracy, & totally agree with you!  = )

    Thanks for letting me know.  I checked the link on our wedding website and it wasn't working.  I changed it so now it is!!!!

    Yup they actually changed it on Tuesday. My whole registery is still there (link has changed though), but I can't get in to manage it. When I log in it says there is no registery linked to my account even though my registery is still up and running fine when I go look at it from a guest view.

    From my understanding, Target website used to be run by Amazon.com.  Target decided to separate from Amazon and run their own website and this is what we get from it.

    We ran into this problem the other night when we went to do our completion shopping. We wanted to update the last few things we wanted and it wouldn't let us log in to our account. First it made us change the password, then it still wouldn't let us in. So we finally went to the store and they gave us the hand held scanner again and we just scanned  the things we needed  to and then checked out... It worked out but it was a pain.

    All I can is that I hate it! The links don't work 90% of the time, and yes I've changed them... 1/2 of our stuff doesn't load the other 1/2 tells us that it's out of stock... which it's NOT if you search for the product itself. If you want to update it, you can't log in. Target needs to get their heads out of their @ss and fix it.

    I have a friend who is getting married in September and when you search for her wedding registry it comes up with a baby registry loaded with baby items. There is no wedding registry for her... she called Target and they told her it could take up to a month to fix the new website!

    Awful movie.  But it does scare me sometimes that that's the direction in which we're headed.

    And I've heard so many problems with Target registry that I'm going to do my darndest to avoid it all together when FI and I register.

    SO FRUSTRATING!! 

    I can't login, I can't add new things, it says half of my stuff is out of stock but when I went to the store last night it wasn't out of stock... I can't change my password and the guy on the help line told me to be patient. I AM GETTING MARRIED IN 16 DAYS! FIX IT!

    *whew* TGIF.
