Another afterparty question

Hey ladies and gents!  For those of you that had afterparties where did you have your after party?  How much did it cost? Did you pay for guest? I am asking because I was looking at the Mix lounge and I just looked at the prices and they are kind of expensive. Is this the normal price for clubs in Vegas? It is cheap to get it in but the drink prices are a little pricey. Thank you for your help!

My afterparty was at Mix - and I honestly loved it more than our reception.  In fact, I could have done this as a reception and been thrilled.  Call Mix and ask about bottle service - that is what we did and although not cheap, it did not cost as much as I originally thought and was doable with our budget.

Common prices I've seen at various nice clubs in Vegas for reserved tables & bottles are from $200 to $500 per bottle with four seats and a hostess; plus tip, plus tax...  of course those four tops fill up the fastest too so best to book in advance via a promoter or the club.

Thank you for the advice. We will have more than 4 people and don't want to spend an additional $1000 on a club. Not sure what we are going to do.

It would be nice if you paid for you it.  BUT i really don't think that its necessary.  I mean I expect a meal or something afterward the ceromony, but after the reception if the party keeps going I wouldn't expect the bride and groom to be paying for that.  But that is just me.

Maybe you could let MIX know that it is an after party for your wedding?  They can probably comp the bride and groom.  But, I would ask first, and speak w/ the Manager and get their name just in case you are at the door and they say they have no record of you guys on the guestlist.  Typically, they would do this especially if it is not a busy weekend.  Also, if you are staying at Mandalay or THE Hotel.  The normal prices for a club entrance on the weekend is $50 for guys and $30 for girls and drinks from $8 - $20 bucks.

We did an afterparty at GoldDiggers at the GN and we bought 3 bottles and mixers.  I think it was around $600 with tip and tax. We just wanted to get the party started.

A few party goers picked up a 4th bottle after the Vodkas (1L) went dry.
