Indoor photo location-Sterling Hgts

FI and I are using our engagement session to do family photos with his 6 year old, and due to the weather this time of year we would rather find an indoor location so he doesn't have to be outside for an extended period.  Anyone have suggestions in the Sterling Heights area?  We dont need anything really fancy, casual, but intimate...TIA.

    The Warren city hall has a really cool lobby, about 3 stories high, with floor to ceiling windows, lots of natural light. They have some benches in there to sit on.

    If you want to capture some outdoor photos while you are there, they have a skating rink right in front of city hall, with a large silver toned sculpture in the middle of the rink.

    It's on the east side of Van Dyke about 1/2 mile north of 12 Mile Rd. The parking garage is free.
     
    Roger's Roost is a restaurant on Schoenherr north of 14 Mile, they have some cool old fashioned decor, doubt they'd care if you took pictures. You might want to call to find out when they are least busy.

    What about the Clinton-Macomb Public Library on Romeo Plank/Canal? It's pretty big, and you could do some cool shots with books and such in the background.
