Hotelplanner.com

Has anyone used this to secure a block of hotel rooms?  It looks like the only way the hotels communication with you is via phone, is that correct?  Any recommendations on this?

Our reception venue has a list of preferred vendors that they work with. I booked our hotel blocks using this list. The hotel chain that we are using gives us a free shuttle service for being with our venue. I called the hotel directly to get our contract settled.

hotelplanner.com is great! They have an online interface where hotels send their bids back to you. You can then decline them back to the hotel with comments and they can decide whether or not they want to rebid. The great part is, they dont get your contact info so they arent always calling and emailing to bug you. I would definitely recommend!

Hello! I agree with what sgylling said about hotelplanner.com - I also used them to book room blocks for my upcoming wedding.  I saved so much time by going through hotelplanner.com, because I didn't have to contact each hotel individually.  Just sent out my request and then scanned through the bids I got back.  Totally painless!  Good luck!
