I'm here...

I am so glad that everyone here is cool. My month board has a girl that likes to give terrible advice and gets angry whenever she's called out on it. She posted a thread saying she is leaving, but she might be back, because this is the second time she's 'gbck'. She also PMd our MOD there. (It's like she's running to mommy and tattling)

So, it's refreshing to have this board!

I'm home, searching for a job and playing on the Knot.

Oh man I had some royal drama with my month board. Apparently I was a tad too honest and my MOD banned me. All of them used to run to her or hide from her like she was mommy and I wasnt having it.

But I love this board. We arent too mean or too nice. its refreshing to be able to speak my mind and not be banned for it.

Im working but need a break once in a while. I have a drs appt at 3 and Im not too excited about it.

I'm at work (with not much to do, obviously!)...listening to VSQ on youtube trying to finalize our ceremony songs

My MOH said I should definitely have the wedding chorus when I walk down, because it's my only chance...but all the other music is going to be VSQ, so I think I may want VSQ's Everything I Do, instead...

I'm heeeerrrrrreeeeeee!!
Just scoping out some of the other boards and killing time. This week is my last week of clinical at Crouse (Th/F night) and I am super duper excited to get it over with.
We might go to Pittsburgh this weekend (depending on how good/bad/long clinical goes Friday night).
Having one helluve time getting our mortgage application processed.
FWIW- anyone out there who is considering buying a house in the near future....
If anyone gives you ANY money (either parents to put toward wedding or from guests as a gift) do NOT NOT NOT deposit it. Cash it or something....
Basically any deposit that is more than the amount of one paycheck has to be explained and verified and the bank wants all sorts of ridiculous information (read bank account number and either bank statement or verification of balance) from our parents (the people who gave the gift).

Of course my dad and Kevin's parents are old fashioned and paraniod about identity theft and freaking out about this. The seller of the house we want can back out at any time, because the mortgage is delayed and we are stuck in the middle.

Whew... that's my day.

Oh yeah. Joshs mom gave us some $$ toward the house and it was a mess. Then M&Ts main office in Albany lost our paperwork so we were delayed yet again. Its all worth it in the end but what a freakin stress!

Oh and I highly would not recc M&T. Im not a fan of anything about them. Same with Citibank for student loans. Big time negative!

And I'm here too! I just haven't had anything interesting to say...I feel that wedding planning is coming to a lull for a bit. Going to do cake tasting soon though (maybe one this weekend).

First Niagara has been pretty ok so far.... just very very strict with their requirements. I asked our mortgage specialist to please call my dad and Kevin's parents... hoping she can reassure them.
I am really scared that the sellers are just going to get impatient and tell us to shove it.
Not too happy about all of this. Had I known then, I would never have deposited the checks... just making life way too complicated right now.

If they really wanna sell it they wont. In doing that they start back at square 1 trying to find someone else to buy. Plus, if I remember correctly, theres a mess of fees and stuff that they have to swallow if they back out, just like you'd have to swallow if you back out. I'd say they probably understand.

Bolger.. I know in the past I tried to warn you that there were two teams on our month board without giving away which side I was on, but I am soooo relieved both of you realize that CINDY IS NUTS. She was banned once before on our board, and the reason we now have Amy as a second mod is because our 1st mod took her sweet time to ban her, after she made numerous inflammatory comments about many of us, and purposely stirred the pot on numerous occasions creating alllll kinds of drama. That girl is BSC. Thus the reason why we have a FB page now.
She has GOT TO GO.

Ha, yeah, I've got it now! Amy (or LIB as I think of her) seems like a really good mod; the old one doesn't seem to come around much.
