Feet Washing-Holy Thursday

Anyone participating in getting the feet washed on Holy Thursday? I am, and I find it to be such an honor. Its an amazing feeling for me because this is my second "birthday" in the church, as I received my sacraments almost two years ago at Easter Vigil. So this is a special time of year for me and I feel so excited and blessed to take part in something like this.

    The mass on Holy Thursday is my favorite one of the year. Our priest sings the song "Pange Lingua" in Latin and it is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard!  I also made my sacraments 2 years ago and feel the same way.  For the past 2 years I've participated in the washing of the feet and it was such an honor!Laughing

    I am not sure how my parish is going to be doing feet washing this year, but in the past it has been open to anyone who wishes to participate, after the initial group has done it.

    It is such a beautiful and moving liturgy...all three days of it. I'm getting really excited for this weekend!

    I am attending the mass for the first time ever this year and what I hear it is definitely an honor! I'm very excited just see how it's done :)
