My folks wrote us out a check today for the remainder of my "inheritence" (it's not large enough to really be considered that, but yeah LOL)
SO! That meant we had the funds to go out SHOPPING!
Which means we were able to get more stuff done off of our list!!!
Today we took care of:
- Thank God for Lemons poster (got it printed and bought a frame for it)
- Frame for no-assigned-seating sign
- Frame for our Thank God for Lemons story
- Big glass vase that has "Love" with fleur decor around it for us to put lemons in (then I made a little flag that says Thank God for Lemons)
- Designed my own signs for the backs of our chairs, now just need to figure out frames for those.
- Bought our toasting glasses (not etched or anything, just leaving them normal - might buy those stick on Bride and Groom things - dunno yet)
- Embroidery thread and needles for sewing our names and the date into my dress.
- Makeup and other beauty products for myself for the big day
- Tulle for decor at the reception hall
- I finished attaching corsage bracelets to the corsages and touching up little details on those.
Then NWR:
- Bought all of my daughter's school supplies
- Bought her some new school shoes (she starts 1st grade one month from yesterday)
- Got myself a few things I'd been holding off on
- Bought a new toaster cause our $6 toaster only has one setting which is BURNT. Regardless of what the dial was on. LOL
- Bought a hair dryer (FINALLY!)
And we went out for dinner for the first time in a solid month since we moved into the new place and got Buffalo Wild Wings.
Totally worth it. I LOVE BW3s. lol
All in all - DAMN GOOD DAY!
Feeling great! Totally teared up on the way home. I think I'm back into excited mode finally now that we've got the money in the bank to take care of all of these things!!! Other than any last minute buys (wine, lemons, and then putting aside cash for tips), we've got ALL of the wedding paid off in full now!
